Trachyte and Essexite  belong to Igneous Rocks.Texture of Trachyte is Aphanitic to Porphyritic whereas that of Essexite  is Granular. Trachyte appears Banded and Essexite  appears Banded. The luster of Trachyte is metallic while that of Essexite  is not available. Trachyte is available in black, brown, dark greenish - grey, green, grey, light to dark grey, white colors whereas Essexite  is available in dark grey to black colors.
